Types of fuel transfer pumps

There are different types of fuel transfer pumps, but the most common are:

Manual / hand-operated pumps

A manually operated pump is a bit old-fashioned, but it does exist. These fuel pumps are manually operated by users. These pumps are more cost-effective, but require you to expend physical and energy. The manual pump has a handle and a long hose that goes into the tank where the fuel is. The other hose is used to pump the fuel from the tank to another storage tank. When you do this, you must physically pump the manual nozzle device to pump the fuel out.
